This invention concept pertains to a ramscoupe, that is a technology that sucks in gases from an atmosphere of a planet, or from a liquid body on a planet, and then separates the various types of liquids and gases, to use them, such as for propulsion technologies throughout a spaceship. The ramscoupe could also be used on jet aircraft that use hydrogen and oxygen to propel themselves. For example, there could be an aircraft that uses hydrogen and oxygen, gathered from taking water from an ocean, purifying it, and then conducting electrolysis to it, to separate the hydrogen and oxygen, to use as gases, to propel the aircraft. This technology could also be used with submarines, to power their propulsion systems, by gathering water from the sea, and then separating the water into hydrogen and oxygen, using electrolysis to separate the liquid water into hydrogen and oxygen gases. There are countless nebulas and planetary atmospheres where useful gases that can be used for propulsion can be found. This technology can even be used when a spaceship or spacecraft is stationary, or landed, on a planet. The technology could even be used on jet aircraft to gather oxygen gas, and other types gases, including noble gases, from the atmosphere, and then use these gases to power long-duration multi-versatile jet aircraft engines, that can use a wide variety of different types of gases, gathered from the atmosphere or from landing on the water, to power the aircraft.
This technology could also be used with satellites, to gather noble gases in orbit around a planet, or with spacecraft or spaceships, or even with spaceplanes, to gather useful gases to use for thrusters or for main propulsion systems. There could be a liquid and gas compartmentalization system, that separates different types of liquids and gases, and uses them in different ways, to produce the right types of fuel, including hydrogen, oxygen, and other types of flammable gases that are capable of being produced from the gathered liquids and gases, and then store the useful liquids and gases in storage systems, for use on spacecraft.
There could be space missions that just pertain to acquiring the right liquids and gases, for the health and sustained activities of the crew. There could be a system that always maps out where to obtain the right fuels and usable liquids for living conditions, and always maintains an inventory system over the right amounts of liquids and gases that are necessary, including for all future planned space missions, to ensure that each space mission will accomplish what the spacecraft needs for future space missions, and also so the right amounts of liquids and gases that are necessary for living conditions to be maintained are also acquired properly, in just the right ways, to sustain life and space mission readiness for the spacecraft of spaceship or spaceplane.
The unusable gases and liquids could just be ejected into space, or back into the atmosphere.
Spacecraft or spaceships or spaceplanes, or even aircraft, could become the equivalence of transport vehicles, that transport a large amount of liquids and gases with them, to provide proper living conditions to their crew, and to provide proper amounts of gases for propulsion. The tanks to store the liquids and gases could even be contained inside of large spacecraft, so the tanks are not exposed.
The filtration technologies could use lasers, to burn up any unwanted materials, or to clean the filters that filter the liquids and gases that are gathered from space, or from the atmosphere, or from the oceans, so that the technologies are sealed systems that don’t need to be maintained with new charcoal filters, or any other type of technology that would have to be cleaned or replaced.
